My name is Danielle Burkhart, I'm from Humboldt County, California. I created this blog to contain anecdotes, news, and opinion surrounding the topics of Environment, energy and climate change, the California marijuana industry and economics. That isn't to say that broader subjects won't appear here, but I will usually try to connect them to the deeper topics at hand. 

So you know where I'm coming from in these posts, I will try to be fair in representing both sides of an issue,
but as a passionate human I admit that won't always be possible. I welcome any and all constructive feedback in the comments, as long as it stays constructive. I reserve the right to delete comments that lower the tone of the conversation, including but not limited to: use of foul language, personal attacks or other tactics unbefitting a civilized conversation. I will do my best to fact-check everything that shows here, and will correct errors in posts as they come to light, highlighting them in an obvious way.
